  • North Star Pathways

  • SKY Lumen

  • SKY Atlas

  • SKY Mobile and related applications

  • Professional development, workshops, and advisory services

3. Use of Our Services

You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You may not:

  • Interfere with or disrupt platform functionality

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data

  • Use the Services to harass, harm, or exploit others

  • Reverse engineer, copy, or resell SKY intellectual property

  • Upload harmful, illegal, or infringing content

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations.

4. Accounts & Registration

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information

  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials

  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized access

You are responsible for all activity under your account.

5. Payment & Billing

Some Services require payment, subscription, or licensing fees. By purchasing, you agree to:

All fees are non‑refundable unless otherwise stated.

All SKY content, branding, curriculum, platform features, software, graphics, and materials are the exclusive property of SKY Education Consulting Services, LLC.

You may not:

  • Distribute

  • Reproduce

  • Create derivative works

  • Use SKY trademarks without permission

Limited, non‑transferable licenses may be granted to schools or organizations through separate agreements.

7. User Content

Users may upload or submit content such as:

  • Identity Deck responses

  • Portfolio items

  • Assignments or reflections

  • Advisor notes

  • Institutional data

You retain ownership of your content. By submitting content, you grant SKY a limited license to store, process, and display it solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Services.

We do not sell user content.

8. Data Privacy

Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information.

By using our Services, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

9. FERPA, Student Data, and Institutional Use

For schools, districts, and educational organizations:

  • SKY acts as a data processor for student information

  • Student data is used only for educational purposes

  • SKY complies with FERPA‑aligned privacy practices

  • Data is not sold, shared, or used for advertising

Additional protections may be included in a Data Protection Addendum (DPA) upon request.

We may modify, update, or discontinue features at any time.
We are not liable for:

  • Downtime

  • Technical issues

  • Loss of data due to user error

  • Interruptions caused by third‑party providers

Our Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
We do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted access

  • Error‑free performance

  • Specific outcomes or results

Consulting recommendations and platform insights are advisory and not a guarantee of performance, academic outcomes, or institutional results.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SKY is not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Loss of data, revenue, or profits

  • Damages resulting from misuse of the Services

Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the Services in the 12 months preceding the claim.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold SKY harmless from claims arising out of:

  • Your misuse of the Services

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your infringement of third‑party rights

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services at our discretion, including for:

Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends immediately.
